JBN Family Science Night (Use Gym Entrance)
Description
This is a free PTO sponsored event for all JBN families.
There are many ways to participate in the Science night. Students can choose to complete an experiment and share their results in a traditional science fair process or they can share a personal collection (rocks, shells, insects) or research a scientist and create a video or live presentation about that scientist.
There is a special Science presenter each year in the Gym on the stage at 7:00.

7:00-7:30Scientific Demonstration- What is a Chemical Reaction? (Gym)

5:30-6:15Student Project Showcase
- Please come support your fellow classmates and see their project displays!
6:15-7:00Meet the Scientists and Q&A (Gym)
Students will meet people who use science everyday to answer questions, solve problems, and learn about our world. Each scientist will tell us about themselves and their job. Some of them will show us tools they use or do a demonstration. Students can ask questions or write them down.
7:00-7:30Scientific Demonstration- What is a Chemical Reaction? (Gym)
For those students/families participating in the science project showcase:
Set up is from 4:45-5:30pm. Please enter through the old entrance and check in at the Cafeteria. Thank you!
